Distribution and Ecology

Borneo: Two collection in Sarawak, near the coast. Found at 90-240 m elevation on podsolized sands and kerangas. Associates include Parastemon, Shorea albida and Gymnostoma sp. (de Laubenfels 1988).

This taxon has a very restricted area of occupancy (typically less than 20 km2) with only two known locations, so it is prone to the effects of human activities or chance events within a very short time period in an uncertain future.
